Thu & Rainier

Thu and Rainier- what a great couple!  From the moment they asked me to photograph their wedding day I was beyond excited because I knew they would have great things planned!

It was a double ceremony, Buddhist and Catholic, so we started pretty early.  When I arrived at their apartment all the ladies were busy getting ready and finishing up some last minute details.

...Including their speeches

...and Thu's bouquet.

Thu made her bridesmaid's feather bouquets- they were gorgeous!

Meanwhile, Alex (my right hand man) was with the guys at the Buddhist temple as they finished getting ready.

Back at their house, Thu took one last look before putting on her wedding attire, which was absolutely stunning-  She had it custom made for her in Vietnam.

Then we were off to ceremony number one!

Rainier was anxiously waiting!

Everyone took their seats as Rainier and his parents took to the aisle.

Her mom gave her away to Rainier and the ceremony began.

They were asked, "And who pursued the other in this relationship?"

After exchanging rings, it was official!

Everyone took photos and then we headed out to get ready for ceremony #2.

While the girls were prepping for ceremony #2, the guys were sneaking in a nap!

Alex was able to take a few photos around the church before people started filing in.

The guys lined up as everyone took their seats...

I love this picture of Thu- so stunning!

And they were husband and wife (again)!

After the ceremony we headed out to take some photos.

It was pretty chilly that day, but the Botanical Gardens were so gorgeous I don't think anyone minded too much!

When the sun started fall, it was time to head to the reception!

As expected, everything was gorgeous!

Once people started filling in...

it was time for the introductions!

Then Thu & Rainier got down to business- cutting the cake, dancing (so adorably!) together for the first time as husband & wife, and of course the garter and bouquet tosses.

And the dancing began!

It got pretty intense!

Such a long and beautiful day. Thank you for having me!

Congratulations, Thu & Rainier!
