Kemerer Family

I met up with the Kemerer Family at a beautiful nature center in Joliet called Pilcher Park.  We ran around the greenhouse, played on the playground, drove into the woods, and I don't think we saw half of this beautiful forest preserve!

Such a beautiful family!  Thanks for hanging out with me!

Jade and Laura

This is Jade (and Princess, her prized teddy bear).

It was a beautiful, sunny day- perfect for running around the park. And of course the geese were out!

We found shade under a big tree, and Jade had a blast tossing her teddy bear around.  I think we could have spent hours under that tree!

Then little sister Laura woke up.

Those cheeks! Seriously, such a cutie!

Bye!  Thanks for showing me McKinley Park- I had a blast!

Nicholas

I met Nicholas at a park near the train tracks because he LOVES trains!

We even saw a freight train- his favorite kind!

Mom helped Nicholas with the chalkboard...

Then we took the chalk to the sidewalk-

We picked up acorns with a dump truck!

Nicholas showed me how fast he could run in the park's big, open field.

Then grandma showed up with a big kiss on the cheek.

Nicholas picked flowers for grandma and mom- so sweet!

When another train came in, Nicholas had to get a better view.

Thanks, Nicholas- I had a blast!

Jack's 1st Birthday!

You might remember Jack; I shot pictures of him at the park a while back with his sister, Vaughn:   Vaughn and Jack at the park!  Well, it was his 1st birthday and they asked me to come back and take some more photos.

When I got there, the kids were making the most of the playroom- the slide was a huge hit!

And puzzles!  Every kid loves puzzles!

Jack practiced his walk, showing off the shirt his mom made for him- super adorable, right?

He was having a blast until the cake came out; he wanted nothing to do with it!

Next, we headed outside to the bouncy castle, where EVERYONE had fun- even the adults!

And no party is complete without face painting!  Vaughn wanted to be a raccoon!

Happy birthday, Jack!  Thanks for having me!
