Mike & Mary are getting married next weekend, and we wanted to shoot some engagement photos before then.  So, we took advantage of all the beautiful, new murals around Pilsen!

 ...and then we came across this awesome rainbow fence!

Niko's Christening

My friend (and fellow photographer) Danielle recently asked me to capture her son Niko's Christening at the St Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church in Lansing.  Of course I jumped at the chance!  We started around the grounds of the church, taking family photos with her husband Milos and some portraits of Niko.

Of course I had to get in a few shots of this GORGEOUS church before the ceremony started..

And Niko had to refuel.

Then it was time to begin!

Lane!

I was out in California last week visiting my family and shot some pictures of my cousin Lane.  We started on her trampoline!

Then we headed to the beach!

She was in search of sand crabs...

and found some! (gross.)

She obliged to my request for some "serious close-ups"...

But couldn't keep a straight face for long.

Then we went climbing!
